mark. Eyeshadow & Blush Review.....

EYESHADOWS

I have to admit that Mark has improved the quality of their eyeshadows. When they first came out they had very poor pigmentation and they seemed to dry quickly making the eyeshadow useless.
Each eyeshadow is $5.00 and the size is actually pretty good, kind a big actually.
Mark recently came out with their matte collection of eyeshadows. Most of their eyeshadows where shimmery and some had that lustre finish.
Let me say I'm totally in luv witht the matte collection.
Below you can see all eyeshadows I own and swatches.

Whisper, Latte, Wink Wink, Hollywood, Espresso
My FAVORITE
I use these colors to blend any harsh lines on my crease
Whisper as a highlight you can see I hit pan already.
These have very silky, creamy and soft texture, but are powder shadows.
I just LOVE these.

Minx, Giogia, Tiki, Magic & Vintage Khaki

Apple, Piccadily, Pool, Ocean Drive & Night Owl
All colors above are very good in color pigmentation and texture.

Biscotti, Crush, Nomadic & Fairy Dust

Victorian Lace, Glitterati, Java, Corset & Retro Peacock

Victorian Lace & Glitterati seemed to be very similar here in the picture but they are actually very different.
Victorian Lace is a silver with a lavender sheen and the texture is smooth and pigmentation is very good.
Glitterati is a silver color with glitter and has a lustre finish (not a fan of lustre eyeshadows)
Java, Corset and Retro Peacock are very nice and pigmentation is great.

BLUSHES
I'd have to say I really love each of the blushes I own. The price on the Blushes are $7.00 the size is a good one too, texture is great color is great I just really like all of these, with one tiny exception Golden Glo, it has that lustre, glittery texture and when I put it on it looks like I just have glitter all over my face. So I'd pass on that one Kitten Glo is another one that just shows up as glitter with a very light pink/white color. I didn't show a picture of it because it just wouldn't show on camera.
So hope you like these!

Star Glo       Cameo Glo
    Chica        Sun Love Glo
Bronze Glo    Golden Glo

With no Flash
Star Glo, Cameo Glo, Chica, Sun Love Glo & Bronze Glo

With Flash
Golden Glo is the very first one that all you can see is GLITTER

These are Marks eyeshadows in
Latte and Apple
I also use these as blushes and they look very pretty.

Dramatic Eye By mark.!!!!!!

How to:

1. Apply mark. please hold eye primer all over lid to keep shadows bold.

2. With a regular eyeshadow brush, apply imark. "latte" all over eye.

3) Apply imark. "plum velvet" to crease and a little above the crease so that the color is visible when the eye is open. Bring the shade to the outer corner too. (use a crease brush for steps 3-5)

4) Bring "plum velvet" deep into the inner corner. This is a bold move, so if it looks like it is making your eyes look smaller than skip this step.

5) Apply imark. "java" to crease right below "plum velvet" and blend a little into "plum velvet" without masking the it. "Java" is used to deepen the purple and crease further depth.

6) Take  imark. "corset" and a small detail brush and create a defined line right at the eye crease. This step is called, "cutting the crease" it is a very dramatic and pronounced way to create a definite contour line on the eyelid.

7) Apply imark. "whisper" with a fluffy eye brush. Begin at the arch under the brow, and continue to blend it under the rest of the brow and into the inner eye.

8) Pat on imark. "magic" with a natural hair, flat eye brush on the lid, right on top of "latte." Patting on the shadow will prevent fall out, and it will help keep the shadows color intensity.

9) Apply mark. get in line waterproof liquid eyeliner really close to lashline.

10) Use a touch of imark."plum velvet" to line the lower lash.

11) Curl lashes and apply loads of mark. lash splash waterproof mascara to top lashes only.

12) Apply foundation  mark. powder buff  This is a powder foundation that offers medium to build able full coverage. I love this foundation. I have go through many pans. Also, I like to apply foundation after I do the eyes so that I don't ruin the foundation work with any eyeshadow fallout.
13) Contour cheekbones with bronzer with mark. glowdacious illuminating powder. Suck in cheeks to make a fish face, and apply contour powder in hollows of cheeks. Make sure to blend outwards and blur any definite lines. This step is to create shadows, but we don't want it to be too obvious. You can use a blush brush, or an angled contour brush.

14) Place mark. get bright hook up highlighter right above check bones.

15) Apply blush with mark. mosaic in hush baby lightly to apples on your cheeks.
16) With clean big and fluffy face brush, blend everything lightly. We want the shades to meld together without it getting muddy.

17) Fill brows.

18) Apply a neutral shade to balance out the bold eye.

Neutral Eye By mark.!!!!!!!

This took forever to do because I lost the swatches & had to do them over again & lost it so had to use these. For this eye I used only mark. makeup. I usually LOVE bright eyeshadows but I choose to do a neutral eye this time!

1. Apply mark. eye primer on entire lid for shadow to last all day!
2. Apply imark. latte on lid.
3. Apply imark. espresso in crease subtly not drastic.
4. Apply imark. whisper on brow bone (under brow) to highlight and make your eye's really pop!
5. Apply mark. on the edge eyeliner in cleo along top lash line. If you're not used to using liquid eyeliner it might be easier if you start on either the inside or outside and make a bunch of small lines and then connect them!
6. Apply mark. scandalash in backlash along the top & bottom lashes.
7. Rock you're new mark. look!

Oh ya the new mark. rep kit!

So if your interested in becoming a mark. rep please let me know! I DONT make any profit at all if you decide to become a rep unlike an AVON rep. Its only $20 to start & unlike AVON you wont be charged anything to keep up the mark. website. Thats where AVON always killed me! lol I wouldn't make enough to cover the overhead. This is just some of what I got when I first signed up. Its not all I promise but I can't seem to find the rest. You also get tons of samples & magalogs (magazine-catalog) but this is when I literally fell in love with their products & brand.

So theres the mark. cosmetic bag (they dont make those anymore :(...), the super cute mini brush case (normally $15!!!), the mezzo snap to it case with 2 eye shadows in biscotti & tiki & blush in afterglo (worth $23), lip click sorry I dont remember the color (worth $10), juicy gems i dont remember the name either (worth $7), make it big lash plumping mascara in raven (worth $7), & one of the old flip for it in London (worth around $20?) Wow thats a lot lol anyways they always update their kits & the older girls are always jealous of the newer ones! haha

As always please visit my site to order!

imark by mark./AVON eyeshadows & swatches

So I'm sooo sorry that I'm uploading all this at once. I'm trying to get everything from my old blog onto this one so maybe my old followers will find me!

Anyhoo so after I got my initial mark. rep kit I fell in love with the eye shadows, usually I love very pigmented ones so I'm always sketchy when trying new ones BUT I loved these, some of them I don't really like just because of my skin tone but other then that honestly I loved them. Only the top 4 are "swatched" because I can't seem to be able to upload my other pics ugh!
So....what do you think? I'm going to try to get the other ones but I doubt I'll have any luck, I had to borrow that one swatch anyways so . . . hmm. Idk if you want to look at some more please visit my website. www.mymarkstore.com/nreagan

mark. hook-ups literally 7,500 possibilites!

These are just some sample hook-ups there are soooo many diff ways you can do it. 7,500 ways exactly! The hook ups come in eyeshadow, liner, lip gloss, lipstick, mark. fragrance, um....what else?  Oh mascara even concealer & highlighters! Well thats all I remember for right now! They aren't that big but they are sooo cute & come in really pretty colors. You just click it into a "hook-up" and then click another one into the other side & there you go! It fits in your purse or pocket & you can have your lip gloss or eye shadow for touch ups right there in your hand. No fumbling trying to find each one, or looking for an applicator. lol

 mark. good riddance concealer
 mark. get bright highlighter
mark. Lip Gloss Hook-Up
mark. eyeliner Hook-Up

Turns into this!

So complicated! OMG

Dang so I go to register my new blog, old one was taken down by accident :( & I discovered what had to be the MOST used blog name EVER lol. Dirty Little Secret, I tried every variation including lil instead of little & anything else you can think of & it just wouldn't freakin work! Most of the links if you look them up come up empty! So...why won't blogger let me use that name? Maybe it sounds too dirty? lol

Anyhoo I hope the ones that were on my site before can find me! I'm soooo missing my friends haha. I buy try love & sell makeup. I should update this blog about once a week. Keep up!
